Filmed in the Daintree over a one week period in July 2021 using a hand held IPhone 10. My Osmo gimbal failed due to lack of internet connection which made steady shots a real challenge. Editing was done on LumaFusion . I was hoping for a lot more reptile encounters but the winter temperatures , camouflage and terrain were against me despite many hours in the rainforest battling thorny vines , slippery slopes and the odd wild pig encounter. The highlight was being approached by an inquisitive half grown Cassowary who stood right next to me as I was trying to film the lichen on a tree trunk . A great experience !
